I was lucky to be able to film the Maya Lin lecture at Smith College last night. I only knew of her work designing the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the National Mall while she was still a college student. I didn’t know the rest of the story about what a busy and remarkable career she has had as an artist and architect.
